Deleting History

Find and open the ‘Settings’ app

Scroll down to the ‘Safari’ option

Tap “Clear History and Website Data”

Private Browsing

Find and open the ‘Safari’ app

Tap the ‘Double squares’ icon

Tap ‘Private’

Android – Chrome

Deleting History

Find and open ‘Chrome’

Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner

Tap the “Settings” option

Scroll down to “Privacy” and tap it

Scroll down to the bottom and tab on “Clear borwsing data”

Private Browsing

Find and open ‘Chrome’

Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner

Tap the “Incognito” option

Deleting History

Click the 3 lines in the top right

Click on the ‘Settings’ option

Click on ‘History’

Now click “Clear browsing data” and select how far back you wish to delete

Private Browsing

Click the 3 lines in the top right

Click on “New incognito window”

Firefox

Deleting History

Click the 3 lines in the top right

Click on ‘Options’

Then click on ‘Privacy’

Now click “Clear your recent history” and select how far back you wish to delete

Private Browsing

Click the 3 lines in the top right

Click on “New Private Window”

Internet Explorer 6

Deleting History

Click on ‘Tools, then click on ‘Internet Options’

You should already be in the ‘General’ tab, click the ‘Delete Files’ button under the “Temporary Internet Files” section.

After this, go to another section called “History” and click the ‘Clear History’ button.

Internet Explorer 7 and 8

Deleting History

Click on the ‘Safety’ menu in the top right of the screen

Then click on the option ‘Delete Browsing History’

Private Browsing

Click on the ‘Safety’ menu in the top right of the screen

Then click on the option ‘InPrivate Browsing’

Internet Explorer 9

Deleting History

Click on the ‘Gear’ menu icon in teh top right of the screen

Select ‘Internet options’

In the ‘General’ page under ‘Browser History’, click ‘Delete’

Private Browsing

Click on the ‘Gear’ menu icon in the top right of the screen

Hover your cursor over the ‘Safety’ option

Click on the option “Start InPrivate Browsing”

Internet Explorer 10

Deleting History

Click on the ‘Gear’ menu icon in the top right of the screen

Click on ‘Internet options’

Then click ‘Browsing History’

And then delete your browsing history

Private Browsing

Click on the ‘Gear’ menu icon in the top right of the screen

Hover your cursor over the ‘Safety’ option

Click on the option “InPrivate Browsing”

EDGE

Deleting History

Click the 3 dots in the top right

Click ‘settings’

Click on “Clear browsing data” and select how far back you wish to delete

Private Browsing

Click the ‘New InPrivate window’ option

Safari

Deleting History

Click on the Safari menu on the top left of the screen

Click “Reset Safari”

Private Browsing

Click on ‘File’ on the top left of the screen

Select “New Provate Window”

Opera

Deleting History

Click the ‘Privacy & security’ tab

Under ‘Privacy’ click the ‘Clear Browsing Data’ button

Private Browsing

Click ‘File’

And then click ‘New Private Window’

Email

Deleting email history

Go to your ‘Sent items’ or ‘Inbox’ folders and click the red cross, or alternatively – right click the email and click ‘Delete’

Deleted emails will usually go to a ‘Deleted items’ folder, find this folder and delete the emails permanently as before.
